spotted this guys build, pretty good http://www.twinenginemini.co.uk/build_history.htm here is the specs Test Goal Actual Best 0-60mph sub 4 seconds 3.858 seconds 0-100mph sub 8 seconds 9.428 seconds 1/4 Mile sub 12 seconds 12.489 seconds @ 118.73mph Top Speed 130+ mph 124mph Power 200bhp+ per engine 185bhp |

A few Twinis were done and registered here years ago, a dude in Wollongong way back when had one with twin 998? Coopers in it. There was a twin 1275 auto one in SA. The RTA would probably hang thermselves by the gonads before they let you register one these days.

Having said that, it must be quite heavy given that power and those times. |

There was one in SA that was not engineered. 1100 in the front, 1275 in the back, both manual. The guy drove it for several years before the police heard about it and paid him a visit.... 
I think the twin auto one was in fast fours or something? Cheers, |

Imagine the fun you could have at the traffic lights with that , it's a fairly basic looking mini van till you took off ...... |

Saw a twini mini today at MATM. Looked well done, some pics should appear in the event photos section later on. It was twin small bores, 998 or 1098, I'm not sure, but definitely look like it would 'go hard'. Was very quiet though.... |

clubman estate even.... Tricky must be wetting his pants bugger these A series twinis, if you're gonna go to that much effort, do it with flash modern motors like this fella - it's very cool

Seeing as you would have 8 cylinders could you then use a aftermarket computer for a V8?
