See this mini for sale on ebay. Widened and lengthened. Why? Its not like a mini doesn't have the space.

There are at least another 3 threads about this car, was on ebay a few weeks ago.

If you buy it, you'd be buying it just for the GTi parts, the Mini is just scrap metal value.

You could always cut two windscreens three inches off centre and just use the two wide bits with a join up the middle. 8)

These days you just use a bead of clear silicone to join the two bits, you have to look harder to see the join.

You'd have to make a ply buck then cover it with sheet metal, lay some flat glass on it and heat till the glass relaxes over the buck.

I was told this by an ex ferarri coach builder, still cant figure how the rubber in the laminate holds up to the heat?
