The kit looks good and all, but I'd check with the local authorities before buying one (yes he will ship to Aus, at a cost) as it appears the front track is altered, which may be an issue??

Show it to an engineer. See what they think.

I reckon any sensible engineer would look at that one and go "eeeeeeekkk, get that thing away from me!"

Chinky, call Enkelman on (03) 9580 3024, they are reputed to be the best, and certainly were helping me out and proving to be very flexible, until I made a dumb mistake and Mr Enkelman terminated our relationship (not on engineering grounds - I'm forbidden to discuss specifics), but otherwise I'd still be using them. If you check in the conversions register sticky at the top of this forum, you'll see a few victorians are using them.

otherwise, check this page from Vicroads:

http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/RoadSafety/VehicleSafety/ApprovalCertificatesVASS.htm

and follow the link to the pdf which lists ALL of the VASS approval engineers

edit: not so long ago, a victorian put an imported subframe in the forsales, stating that it was not possible to be approved in victoria - most likely due to track changes that were outside the allowable limits
