Hello peoples of Ausmini I have a question to all you wonderful people of the Mini Community ![]() I'm asking this question because i want to make a vtec conversion but as i search around the net it seems that the master/clutch cylinders are all on the passenger side to avoid hitting the air filter like this one. Or can you still have an engine swap with the cylinders on the drivers like ![]() |

The master cylinders on that car are on the otherside because its American. It would not be entirely difficult to do what you're asking but its not the easiest way around the problem. |

It would be easier to modify the intake manifold or just the air intake pipe. Dan |

I think you'll find the steering rack on Oz cars is a bigger issue with clearance.. |
