Given there is no room for questioning in the for sale section I thought I might start a thread in here to save having to answer the same questions again and again.

I want to give a hayabusa powered car a go. To fund the purchase of that I need to sell either the car as a whole or the motor/subframe combination. My preference would be to sell the subframe and motor and associated stuff as a package.

Not getting out of the game by any means, just want to do something a little more adventurous.

Been asked quite a bit now:

$5k for Frame and motor combo:

That'll include frame (no brakes or suspension), motor/box/toyota driveshafts, 2 turbos, exhaust, new clutch, intercooler, wiring loom/instrument cluster, new cam belt and anything else I have there that you will need to get it running.

All you will need then is to get it in your car, fuel it (i'll give you a bent up fuel line) and have some driveshafts made ($500 ish).

Motor has about roughly 100,000k's on it.

Does include new cam belt.

As a whole I would be looking for about $15k.

I'll be honest, a little bit more than I want really. Not after 150hp atws, after about 100. So yeah, a little bit more than I wanted to pay for an engine and subframe.

Thanks for the reply though!

If you keep the stock cT9 on it then you will only get the 100hp at the wheels

Having spent a fair bit of time on this car myself, I would consider the price asked a bargain......

Better yet, buy the whole care and be 9/10th's of the way to a 4EFTE powered Mini that has a rust free, ground-up rebuilt sheel that has virtually new paint.

Cheers,
Tricky

I would love to buy this but even if you had done 99% of the work for me I don't think I would even know where to start!!!

I have read so many different websites and posts in this forum about doing these conversions but I judt don't thnk I would be capable of doing it by myself.

I can weld and am pretty handy but I still think this seems pretty advanced.

How do all the people that are doing these conversions know what they are doing?

I believe it's worth it to some one else, not me, I reckon I can get away cheaper on ther motor an subframe. By pulling in some favours.

Bog stock ct9's. Front Mount cooler, SAFC, exhaust and a HKS actuator = 150hp atw.
