Just looking at half cut prices for absolutely no reason and came accross a car called the Subaru Vivio that i never heard of before. the half cut is going for 1300 and was supercharged 3 cyl so i looked round and found this

pretty cool stats if someone wants a 52hp AWD car and im sure you could turbo it or tweak it more. looks the same size as the mini. anyone thought of somethign along these lines using this car?

cheers, goffy

Plenty have thought about it.

AWDMoke is giving it a red hot go. SKSSGN along with Archangel007 are trying a Honda AWD

If you seriously want to give it a go I have a Mitsubishi AWD for sale that would transplant well into a mini.

Go Vivio. 0-100 in 18 seconds. You could drag race 850s against that. :P

I like the idea though

i've always liked the idea of a AWD mini.
if i ever did another project it would have to be a awd mini. wouldnt the biggest issue be the rear subframe?

I've got another AWD Honda, and a 1600 DOHC front cut that'll match up with it... and I'm having rear arms fabricated that will suit a slightly modified mini rear subframe. Get Tricky to make you a front subframe, I'll make you a back one, and you can pay for our conversion costs ;)

a girl around the corner from me has one of these, i dont think its forced though, i was stuck behind her and couldn't wait to over take her on 2 lane road,

i have really started an interest with kei cars, and when (not if) i finish some sort of apprentiship or tafe course, this is or the mini the type of cars i want to be driving,
i rang an import company about a suzuki alto turbo that they had complianced in QLD,

what the company also told me was that the gearbox mounts onto the suzuki mighty boy engine, and some type of suzu twin cam head mounts ontop, = 880cc twin cam turbo 4WD mini,
