hey just want to no how much will it cost for a complete toyota starlet engine conversion for my 1975 leyland clubby...... or does any one have a complete package done that i can just bolt in..... how much$ ![]() |

There really isn't a ceiling on how much you can spend but for a basic conversion that somebody else is doing for you drive in drive out I would say $8-9k. This includes: Buying front cut Making frame Fuel Exhaust drivehsafts alternator bracket oil filter recolation brake lines gear changer mechanism |

wooooo thats alot of money, all i want is to get the subframe modified to fit a 4EFTE, and ill do the rest....well most of it |

In my guestimate of $8-9k, $3k was for someone to make a subframe. |

![]() I've seen a 1098 pull 91+ HP, on a real engine dyno too, not a chassis dyno with smoke and mirrors. ![]() |

![]() So you're making an 1100 go faster than a standard 1275 which require disk brakes because you don't want disc brakes. ![]() I would fit disc brakes to a standard worn out 850 before I put a hot 1100 in it. It's just me I guess... I love being able to stop! |
