Apparently (according to mini world and the likes) they will fit into a mini just , it has to be a clubman and needs major work as it's really too long and too wide (not to mention heavy) , better off getting a starlet motor or similar . The seller seems a bit confused in his reply at the bottom ... |

the K engine is not that heavy, about the same as the A but its a great engine, beeing that old, its from 1983 |

that was, and still is, a design problem of the cooling system. it was made to heat up quickly and to be ok in normal traffic. the thermostat is placed just before the water re-enters the engine, so if it opens a lot of cold water rushes into the engine, not the best way to cool a hot engine. if you change this to the normal position you will have no more problems with that |

theres no aparently about the rover K its a good conversion for those who arnt purely after HP, but you can get some if you wanted to. guy in the UK has a site about all his mods: http://www.theclubman.co.uk/ seems like a good investment if you can find one to bring over here... |
