sorry- but nope, it's much bigger, and weighs a ton too. Also harder to get big power from without them going BANG! ![]() |

What about 1800 gearbox? !. Are they any good. 2. Do they fit? I'm toying with a few ideas, but they rely on finding a FWD sump/gearbox or similiar. |

The whole Austin 1800 motor/box is lots wiiiiider than a Mini one, no way I can see it fitting. Although with enough hacking anything is possible (for a race car). TheMiniMan has an Austin 1800? box in a black Mini racer, with a P76 V8 attached- but it's NOT a road car and not going yet I think. |

P76 V8 is 4.4, I got spare, smaller version 3.5 alloy V8 in the shed I have seen them in mini's even raod mini's but I really can't see that being legal on the raod, even tho the alloy rover V8 only about 100kg heavier than A-series iron lump. |

The Rover K series we never got. A dude in Finland? managed to cram a Rover V8 in, the clubby still looked stocko outside. Illegal here... for road use. |
