Hello All

In NSW after engineering etc, do we still go over the pits or can a Blue Slip station handle a vehicle with mods for Rego.

Thanks
Steve

I think the blue slip station is all that is needed now..

From memory the RTA did away with the pits years ago...

Ah to be in NSW. In the ACT we have to get engineered and go over the pits. In my case 3 times!!!

I'll confirm...

Yeah all you need is the Engineering Certificate & then a blue slip guy to blue slip it & do a engine # change

We just need the engineer to sign off...

Then the Blue Slip guy signs off on the rest and you are done.

Emission Tests are not done on a engine change... only conversions that fall into kit catergory.

wow u guys have it easy up there ! in victoria, unless u can prove that the engine u have came from an australian delivered vehicle and can prove its still runs all pre polution gear as well as computer gearbox and anything else, u have to go get emissions tests done, and they can be up to $1500 each time, with no guarantee ull pass it !

do u mean kit category as in like an ac cobra or lotus 7 replica style kit car ?

cheers
andrew
