I have started collecting parts to build a round nose vtec van. I'll be using a B16A, out of a 94 VTI civic. New suspension components all round, cooper S brakes, 13x7's, 048R yokos etc etc.
More pics to come as i make progress.

I think i'll need some flares

Good stuff! I hope your build rate is faster than mine (glacial) or those hoops will be as hard as Bob Jane all rounders by the time she's on the road.

Hi

Im looking at using 13x7's on my vtec aswell, how much you pay for the rims.
Do the 13x7 come in different offsets or do you just ask for deep dished, also are you using 1"spacer drums on the rear?.

What sort of discs are you using ?

Steven :P

I know they are definately road legal. As for the price I am also very interested??? I'm chasing a set myself, but have to bring them over from Eastern States.

looks great glen, awsome wheel tyre combo.

Just check with your engineer if you will need ventilated discs for the conversion. If you do i would look into getting some Mg Metro Turbo ventilated discs and 4pot calipers, these bolt straight upto mini hub uprights, dont use the metro hubs. Need 12inch or bigger wheels.

Rules are different up here in Qld, i will get away with std cooper S disks and a booster. It takes the same amount of brake power to pull up a A-series powered mini from 100K as it does a V-tec mini (weight is within 20Kg), the fact that the vtec can go much faster is semi irrelevent, as you cannot legally do those speeds anyway. The fact it gets there faster/has more power also has little to do it with it, when you want to stop, how often are you applying the power?
if weight was added to the vehicle i would need laregr brakes, but due to the weight being the same, std brakes will be fine.

Thanks for the comments guys
