If you were serious about it, you would be hard pressed to find a cheaper complete solution than this.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Watsons-K-Series-Classic-Mini-Honda-VTEC-Conversion-Kit_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ10076QQihZ009QQitemZ190017413925QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD2V It could not cost you more than $500USD to get it here. $2000usd = $2632aus. Crazy if you didn't really. |

Quote: Hi, who made the vtec cradle?
a mob called Mini Tec in the US. They are really helpful and even threw in a Mk3 to Mk1 subframe conversion kit for me for free... as the k-series are all mk3 shells onwards and we dont have those mk3 shells here in aus http://www.superfastminis.com check out the site.. As for that Kit on Ebay! wow thats everything you need right there and for a REAL good price 2.. being a watsons kit im guessn it'll be LHD or RHD.. but that looks like a LHD steering rack that comes with it |

now the question is, is it possible to do this conversion without extending the front wings on a round nose? |

i havent found a prefabricated kit yet that fits the vtec in a standard round nose... they all have to be 90mm longer.. i guess if you did it all urself it'd be possible |

Post subject: | Allspeed |
There is a cheaper option - Allspeed, I have ordered one, should be here in a month or so, cost for the subframe was $1700 and luckily for me, I am bringing it over in my mates container, so much cheaper then anywhere else, shouldnt be much more than $2000 landed! but thats using all mini suspension and brakes! I am not extending the front either! |
