In Qld I have dealt with Allstate and Asian and they were both fine to deal with. No probs or rip-offs. Mate bought a 4AGE from Asian and it blew heaps of smoke when installed. They were happy to swap it for another.

Only issue with Allstate is that they sometimes don't cover holes like shifter or breathers before high pressure washing (Quarantine requirement). So you would be best to change fluids prior to letting the engin/box sit while you make a frame.

I'm a little confused by your descriptions though....what do you mean by "no ep82, only EP91"?
are they still turbo EP91's?? if so, "only" isnt the word you should be using, as an EP91 turbo cut would normally be a better buy than an EP82 cut.....being newer.
And what are "north cuts"?

the cuts mentioned are Ep82 4EFTE, and Ep91 4EFTE. Yes the Ep91's are newer, however bring along with them a much higer price tag. I guess if you've got the cash, then get one of those instead. i think 3K was the cheapest Ep91, then add on freight.

from recollection, then people getting in the Ep91 said they they don't do the Ep82's cause they're getting a bit old now... (but don't quote me on that).

the north cut, from my understanding is the rear end of the car?
