I was wondering if it was possible to put a vtec 1800cc in a clubman? does anyone know how much it would set me back to do this? where bouts can you get vtecs from in aus? cheers andrew |

yes it is possible there are a few kits overseas or you can fabricate one yourself look in the conversion links and you will find some pages that might help most jap engine importers may have them or can arrange one for the cost and hassel its probably easier to get a b16 vtec |

Yes, the B18c vtec is about 6mm higher than the B16. |

I'm glad vtec engines are a lot cheaper in NZ, I would not like to pay more then $4500 for a B18cR from trademe or privately. http://www.stronghonda.co.nz/vtec_kits.htm CheersPaul. |

I'd definitely go the B16a. Spend the extra 2 or more grand on it and you'll have an awesome engine. I think the B18 only has 30hp or something. Surely you could get that for 2 grand without all the hassles involved in fitting a massive engine into a tiny space. My little 1.3 only just fits. |
