Welcome Dan! Another fan of Brads mini eh? You will find heaps of pics & info already posted on here - you've come to the right place. Good to see you are planning it out properly. You should have few problems, as the UK seems to be a lot less stringent than Oz when it comes to conversions. |

Hi Dan, Glad you like the feature on my mini mate. There are a few ways to go about a conversion for a mini. First you will need a mini, clubman prefered as there is lots more room, but a few guys here are getting very close to putting them in a round nose. Then you will need a subframe made, most people use the standard mini frame and cut it off from the suspension towers forward and run a new tube steel frame to house the 3 engine mounts needed for the engine. Then once the engine is in place you will need driveshafts to be made, fuel lines run, water lines, brake lines, wiring, ect. Matt on here has a great website with loads of info you can look at, check it out here: http://www.mpdesign.id.au/ |
