well its basically the same as most of the others that you have seen, except the bar at the front. I chose to bend mine and use 8 c/sunk 12.9 M8 hex screws. Still need to make the mounts up. more clearance needed for the rear of the g/box too. but it is progress..... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

oooOOO purdy...looks alot like JC's ![]() no offense or anything but...is it just me or does it look a wee bit on the flimsy side? the one i've got planned sure is ALOT beefier than that...perhaps unnecessarily so ![]() |

Looks like a neat piece of work ![]() I agree that a lot of the others are WAY over engineered! (I include my own in that category) |

Looks good, Inazuma be careful not to overdesign and end up having unnecessary weight. Dan |

my front bar is removable, makes it easier to install im my case... (c/sunk screws) lucky that the oil filter is not that hard to remove either.... I don't need to remove the bar to remove the filter. |

Ina, you;ve got to remember how cramped for room it is in there aswell. When I read you "50 * 50" comment i got my ruler out and said to myself ">>ck that's huge". Anyway, good work Mano, Ron will be pleased to see his brainchild populating allover the country. |

Anyway, good work Mano, Ron will be pleased to see his brainchild populating allover the country. 40x40 was my other option ![]() spose 50x50 is a bit on the massive side... |

Don't go over the top with 5.0mm Wall Thickness A little bit of gusseting in the corners would be a lot more effective ![]() |

A little bit of gusseting in the corners would be a lot more effective ![]() well i was gonna gusset pretty much every corner that formed a 90 degree...which is a fair few...i havent discussed any of this with the engineer as yet...i wanna make the jig first...then i will have a better idea of what i am gonna be doing...all i have at this stage is a few rough sketches and a mental image of how i want the finished product to look... PS sorry for hijacking this thread ![]() |
