Yeah I do.

I went to buy the two aluminium bends for the intercooler connection and got talking to the bloke about turbos etc, when i told him what i was doing he gave me the run down of the work that he did on the gold mini. He did the subframe and fitted the motor IC radiator, shafts etc.

He is a mechanic and was a friend of a firend of the owner.

Anyway he said that Craig Lownes was the person who bought it from ebay.

Are we talking about the same gold clubby... Cause I know MR Enforcer fitted the engine & made the subframe for that car...

I gather we're not talking Craig Lowndes of V8 Supercar fame? Yeah I thought Mr Enforcer did the gold clubby...?

Well he described it as the one with the woggy interior (whitish tanny colour) and on ebay. He said the paint was a bit tired in real life and also was able to tell me that the the radiator in the boot caused the cabin to get very hot as there were two large speakers in the rear parcel shelf that let hot air in. He told me how much he charged the guy, the drive shafts were billet and cost $800 (can't remeber who made them). He also wanted the owner to put in a watercooled IC but the owner wanted the BIG FMIC and thats why the radiator ended up in the boot.

This is interesting I'll have to go back there and find out a bit more, his name was Illia i won't say which company he worked for in case it becomes an issue.

he also appears to not have any sort of vent to vent the heat back out...like the radiator just vents straight up into the boot...kinda 1/2-assed if you ask me...dean's solution would keep yer boot and cabin MUCH cooler i would have thought...
