well it lets you bolt on any garrett T2,T25,T25g,T28,GT25,Gt28 etc turbo onto the manifold. The standard ct9 turbois only good for around 135hp@wheels with front mount cooler, 2.5inch zaust and microtech ecu.

Wack on a T25 and for the same boost (10psi) you can have another 20hp@wheels with stock top mount cooler and ecu.

ah i see...so would you still need this if you are doing a custom header then (eg. minimetoy's log header)?

Roundy guys might have problems fitting any T2 behind the grille I think.

What do you reckon Striped?

I rection its all about compromises. I'm a bit sick of my own clubman bashing so I won't do it but.... faced with choice I would, and am, making do with the ct9. Whilst Brad is correct in saying that factory they are limited, they can be modified. I am taking steps to get the most out of the ct9. This manifold will aid in doing so. Whilst the turbo is the heart of this motor alot can be done to open up the artilleries and veins right? God, i'm feeling awefully metaphorical today.

Yep, but it'd be nice to have your cake & eat it too, eg, to be able to fit a larger turbo in the original position.

Don't forget that, if your car is the model you think it is, it will be fitted with the ct9b. Which is a better turbo. There is a way to tell if it is. The housing of the turbo will just say Toyota and not Toyota Ct9 (as is the case on the eariler model).

The larger turbo's just won't fit. Striped remember once you will always want more power, and the cheapest alternate is the bigger turbo.
