Now that i am making a log for the exhaust manifold i have thought about removing the factory oil relocator altogether and simply fitting the standard oil filter.

I will pick up the oil feed for the turbo by installing a T-piece where the oil pressure switch is relocated.

Any comments or issues that people can see with this?

We must have different models as mine doesn't have a factory oil relocator. Is there enough room in the round nose to fit the oil filter in the standard location?

The factory relocator is really an offset piece fitted where the oil filter would go on an 4efe. All 4efte models have this due to the turbo position.

I think the standard oil filter will fit with out a drama.

Yeah doesn't it simply sit pretty much flat against the engine?

T-piece on the pressure switch is working fine on mine......that's how most people do it....
