Alright, i give up. What's the trick with getting the fekin bolt that secures the rear engine mount off. Fekin Council Worker just won't budge.

Stripey, notsure what you mean. the two bolts that hold the cup thingy or the actual bolt that goes throught the rubber mount. If its that one then try jacking the rear of the engine a little bit as it takes the weight of the mount making it easier to remove if you have done this Ummm..:(

thought you were doing a suzi conversion? would be good if you are going the 4efte route...means i can steal some knowledge off you when it comes to doing mine in a month or 2 :P

Yeah that sucker. I've got the engine crane taking the weight of the motor. Other two mounts are completly free. Given it more lube than a $2 hooker would use in a busy weekend. Damn Poltron just doesn't want to budge. Doesn't help that there is very little room in there so can't get leverage with the breaker bar.

i thought you were still going ahead with the suzi conversion but were planning to do the starlet gt later on...my mistake :P didnt realize you were doing the gt RIGHT NOW...although it would explain why you knew the wrecker had a couple of them lying around :P

Geez so its stuck fast hey. Do you have an oxy of something you might want to heat the welded nut on the other end of the mount? If yours is the same as mine you could always unbolt the actual engine mount which is attached to a sort of cross shaped bar with some hefty bolts. Otherwise :?

really lookin forward to getting the frontcut back to my house and attacking it with a socket wrench...i'll probably have issues with the mounts as well :P is there a workshop manual or something for the 4efte?

i know its JDM...i thought the glanza (ep91) was released in NZ though...like properly released...not just imported and sold as JDM...i can read japanese so even a workshop manual in japanese would be ok :P surely there's something out there that covers it...

My Bro has been into the starlets for a while. He and another bloke in NZ started a business called Tatsumaki Racing. NZ bloke paid to have the entire workshop manual converted to English.......... Commitment you say? He is now employed by Toyota NZ.

oh ok...cool...is this actually sought after? like do you guys reckon it'd be useful to have a translated 4e-fte workshop manual? if not we wont bother...
