hey guys, just interested if anyone would be interested in doing a sought of group buy deal with an engineer???, i know me and MINIMECHANIC would be interested aswell as CODY n JAM,(interested?) so who would be interested??? blake (just wondering...would make it cheep for us through one engineer!, all at one time made up!)

the only problem with this is that most minis will need different frames made up as there not all 100% identical anymore. When Mr enforcer engineering made mine they tried to fit it to another mini and it just didnt line up 100% like it did in my engine bay. So to do it properly they would have to work out a design then have all the minis there and make them to suit each engine bay. Its still a group buy but just not as easy. I know the suzuki gti frames can be made to fit all minis, so id say a 4efte frame could be made to fit all clubman minis too, just have to find the best design to do it. The frame baracade (dean) is getting done now at mr enforcer would probably work as it it made so the motor is fitted and dropped out from under the car. This gives the motor alot more room for adjustments. His going to be soliud mounted (no rubber mounts) but this design can be rubber mounted. I think if you get 5 people all at once that want a frame made, engine/box fitted with driveshafts your looking at around $2500 still. |

i emailed mr enforcer asking if he would be interested in the idea- at the right price... Someone should start a website full of aussie engine conversions....

I WILL be making a subframe for the gti mota's soon as I buy one. I WILL draw it up or make more subframes. Why in the hell people are asking for 1200 bucks a subframe I do not know. (unless it is engineered.) |

meh gti, gimme a toyota motor anyday. sick of the headaches i've had over the last 4 years with my girlfriends GTi. i've sunk about 3 grand into it, and it's still shagged. latest victim: water pump. they're really overrated motors. |
