Again, great 3d skills, really helps visualise the project. Does the frame hang lower then the front valance, or have you cut the valance down? |

I haven't done anything since may. Been too busy working and occupying my weekends withmore fun activities. I still have parts being cut, and welding out of bits is being done by professionals, so yheres still a little 'background' stuffhappening, just nothing to see at the moment. |

***extremely limited knowledge of ADR's and somewhat .... OK, rather inebriated** Re: Third image.. Shouldn't it be legal as long as it's not directly in the way of people and padded to the hilt? |

Theres a mini with a VTEC and full cage registered in Qld. The owner says it is possible just difficult. |

Is that the silver 850? That was built before the Victorian cage laws were updated. I'm sure it can be done too, I'll just with the engineer on this one if I take it much further. |

If I remember correctly my engineer said that you can have a full cage if its a club car which I'm assuming means on club plates... If you get one of those cages bent up count me in for one |

Hey Harley, Love the CAD work mate, wish I could do that, would help me a lot with my conversion at the moment. I've been looking right into rollcages for my build (I'm in QLD) and after looking around it seems only a 4 point cage from B pillar back is legal, not sure if you found that out but thought I may as well mention it. Here is the NCOP (National Code of Practice) on LK modifications, QLD is also on VSB14 now, which it wasn't until around mid last year I believe, which now means engine conversions fall under a new modification code LA2 "Performance Engine Installation". - NCOP LK (inc Roll Cages on pg 39) - All VSB14 NCOP Documentation Cheers, Sam |
