Actually this has been a reasonable debate , I can't comment for the current Mod's but when I was a mod this type of thing would be let run UNTIL it became personal and the discussion on the different frames became attacks on the builders . Mini engine conversions are still fairly new in the scheme of things and there are different ways of doing the frame so talk like this is helpful for others contemplating a conversion .

well said ,,, & i must say, if you read the whole way through this thread, there actaully was absolutely nothing personal at all,,, all the guys have been very mature & sensible & have kept it stricktly business all the way & i believe it`s all been quite "to the point",,, Obviously we could have strayed more than the fine line, but cheers to all of you for keeping it real ... & especially for putting up with my "KnowItAllSmartArse-ness"

well done ,,, i know i can be a hard man to get through to some times, obviously i`m stuck in my ways (so to speak) but you`ve all been very good to me :-) & i thank you , especially Trickster & JC.

& anyone else who diss-agrees with me then come here & say it,,, i`ll have ya,,, common then ,,,, lets go outside & see who`s left standing after 3mins yeah??? common!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:-) Kidding, just kidding :-)

& besides, my mashed potatoe is still the best :-)

& getting back to the original topic--> i`ll be over at COR shortly & have another chat with Dave & see what the progress is like with Nat`s little blue mini & let you all know.

I've just re-read my post .... I wasn't trying to say that the talk in this thread had turned into personal attacks , just that debates like this are fine and only become a problem if they cross the line and become personal , which this one didn't .

It brings to mind something you said to me one time - the written word loses a lot of detail from inflection and tone so things can get confused... or something like that :P

Most of the time if anything gets heated, it's because someone's taken another the wrong way.

Its called impact and intent....

Meaning - "What you thought I said is not necessarily what I think I was trying to say"

That's it exactly , people are pretty good here and often it isn't malicious , just misunderstood . There have been a few really narky ones though ....

Tricky , that's a good sig quote , I'd use Matts but it's too complex
