8) The monster is alive!

I hope this time you don't have to head back to the mechanic until a time of your choosing. Great news.

Thats good to hear that the car is doin well. Now you can grow back the hair you've ripping out with all the teething troubles. lol

Will be a monster with that amount of power. Congrats Dean. As AWD said, hope the next time you visit a mechanic, its because you want to go there.

Just got back from a ride in BIGBAD...

I thought i was quick before...

It's just nuts..that's the only way to describe it, on a smooth road it just kept traction and the LSD kept it (fairly) straight as you hurtled towards a seemlessly never ending urge of power.

It's just THAT fast...and i thought we were on 14 pounds of boost, but Dean happily informed me that we were only on 12 and that he wants another 130odd HP at the wheels ...

Thanks for the ride Dean  8)

Awsome car dean, thanks for the drive, i think i can safely say this is the fastest street mini in oz now, and only on 12psi. When the boost goes upto where the turbo is ment to be run at 20+ psi i can see you ordering a 4wd box from japaan haha.....

cant wait to to go for a cruise with ya on sunday, hopefully i will be able to keep up :D

Well Done Dean, great effort mate. It is a testament to your perseverance. Will be interesting to see what the final figure is? What is the most powerful foreign engined mini that still retains the front subframe and FWD. On 20+ PSI you would have to be a shoe in...

Cheers

Matt

Hmmmm well what can I say... From driving a Echo for the last 15months to driving BIGBAD... Well.... well... scary & FUN come to mind....

Car preforms so well its crazy... I am so happy at the moment... am just getting use to soft feet...

In 2nd gear The smoother I ease it into the rev range where the boost comes in. The straighter she runs... But Its still just like a truck has hit me up the ass when we hit full boost...

Third gear is fairly easy to predict... As the wheels grip & you can feel each of them fighting against each other to go straight.. With small twitch's of the steering wheel you can get BIGBAD running straight.

DAM I'm so Imprest & MONEY IS SO WELL SPENT
