It's all good, my car doesn't know what adr's are.. Just something younger vehicles had to worry about

Haven't really had 5 minutes to spare over the last couple of months but today I set myself aside some time and did a little bit of work..

Got a new dash which is a lot more basic (just plain black flocking) fit quite well straight away which was good, put the gauges in in a slightly more mk1 look...

Also got my cylinder head back, had the ports tidied up as well as a few other things.. Fitted that to the engine as well as a set of adjustable cam gears

Quality photos..

Love it! The interior looks like a really neat and professional job. I can't wait for the next installment.

Had some dramas with an incorrect flywheel so took longer then expected to get the motor in the car, but it's in now and has turned over!

Waiting on my mega jolt in the mail so I can actually fire it up and that will be quite a good moment that's for sure!

Image

Also today did a bit of tidying of brake lines, mounted my balance controller (I want to have the ability to control my rear brake pretty precisely so should be able to with bias control and balance control.. In a more simple word, w ank..

Image

Not much else to report... Waiting on mega jolt which has stalled proceedings a bit, not to mention my weekends are usually spent painting helmets!

Sorting the wiring on the wheel is interesting to say the least..

I've got to make a cover panel for the brake lines, shouldn't be overly hard..

I only bought it for the speedo and indicator/ high beam signals but its got some cool features! The spek gauges on the dash are the best though, built in minimum and maximum warnings so they change colour when they're not happy etc

Oh dear, just ordered $500 worth of speed flow fittings and fuel lines as well as a pressure regulator, should be here next week for more things to do! Safe to say there will be 1 hose clamp on the entire fuel system which is the carb connection.

I started wiring the megajolt and edis module in today, waiting on some shielded wire for the sensor etc. still waiting on my trigger wheel and a couple of other things..

Also keen to see what some people have gone with for fuel cells? I have a couple of ideas but wouldn't mimd seeing some other guys installs
