hey i am considering puttin a suzuki g13b eingine drivline and all gear into my leyland mini but was unsure about the cost :oops: hopefully someone could help me with there experience or would it be easier & cheaper to drop in a mini metro 1310 or 1380

mate it cost me $600 for my complete MK1 donor car, nothing wrong with eng, went fine for a few months untill i caused its failure due to the crank shaft pulley..

now front cuts can be sourced for about 2 grand.. as for the fitting etc, keep around 5k handy if your not to good with the spanners.. maybe more im not to sure, but dual circuit brakes and discs are a must, and obviously are expensive :)

Why are the dual circut brakes a must? What about just a vented brake set?

Safety requirement, in keeping with the increase in power.
As I understand it, must be vented brakes too.
