Kenno,

Nah, mates rates in the end. Tony works for a roofing company, so he got me all my steel for the trailer gratis, so its all good.

Latest:
With the failure to get the brake line guy here, and to get the exhaust completed, time has run out for me to get Barbie completed before Xmas, as I had previously stated. So, it came time to send Barbie back home to Tony's place as the space was needed in the workshop for the next project, and indeed for the next customer.

The tilt tray turned up at 4:00pm Boxing Day, to ship Barbie off home. While she is there, Tony has quite a few things to do on her that doesn't need my physical input, so hopefully the next time I have her over (whenever a spare moment presents itself), this time we can get her finished. It was a pity, as I only had a couple of things to do to finish my list.

Barbie being winched up onto the tilt tray:

The tow-hook helped - the tilt tray driver was very thankful for this:

And strapped down and on her way. Bye Barbie, see you next time:

And we shall pick this story up again when next time Barbie comes to visit (she sounds like the local bike, doesn't she!!)

Cheers,
Tricky

Hey Dion,

Yes, she is fat alright!

Once she is back over one more push and Barbie will be almost finished.

Listening Tony!!!

Cheers,
Tricky

Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately my good mate Tony is unable to complete 'Barbie', and therefore it is now up for sale.

Please see the listing here:

The car looks great. Any idea how much it would cost to finish to road worthy spec?
Cheers, Joe

Hi Guys,

Not much work to do - some exhaust work, shifter linkages, electrics, fuel lines, intercooler and piping and thats about it really - everything else has been done.

It needs a set of wheels to make it a roller, a quick session on the dyno and voila - done!

Its really a $15k car for $8k.

Cheers,
Tricky
