Thanks

Twin Carb Turbo?? that don't sound right....

I know of and have driven (many times) the carb model...the carb model was fairly gutless (but OK!) would love to have tried the turbo.

Hi,

Not sure I can help you with what to replace in the mini gearbox, that was one of my reasons for doing a conversion in the first place. LSD sounds like good start though.

Your conversion sounds like it deserves it's own thread, with lots of pics too.

Good Luck

Mini-62...when you plonk the k3-ve2 onto a Mini box....won't you have to come up with either a chain drive or alternative drop gear set up :?:

Hi 9yatah,
The gearbox has to be cut down and a new flange welded on to suit daihatsu so all mini stuff can be used :) :)

CB70 is an animal of an engine.....

whoever does it first and sorts it out well,
let me know, i'd be very interested in building one too!
light, powerful and takes well to tuning....
