Hi Guys,
I just wanted to share my experience with the Clutch Slave Cylinder sizing on my conversion.
I have run the standard EP82 slave cyl (3/4" bore) since I finished my conversion in May 2009.
It was heavy. Much too heavy for traffic driving causing my leg to get sore quite quickly. (I'm 6'1" and ride Mt Bikes pretty seriously and used to compete, so my legs aren't exactly weak.)
I changed the clutch for a heavy duty clutch and lightened flywheel I had floating around and the clutch got even heavier and "poppier" making getting away from stationary pretty difficult without stalling or spinning the wheels.
Anyway, taking the que from Josh's conversion, I looked into changing the slave to a ADM EP91 starlet one (7/8" bore).
The local REPCO had one and for $73 it was mine.
I Fitted it up today and bled the clutch and its 100% lighter with a much more progressive take up. I haven't driven it properly yet, but just in the garage it feels great!
I definitely recommend it for anyone with a 4EFTE conversion. I'd say my car is daily driveable now and before it definitely wasn't!
The part number is PROTEX JB9514 and the bore dia is 22.23mm!
DO IT!
