Hi Folks, how are you doing? First of all I introduce myself, my name is matias and im from chile, I am currently gathering information to enable a conversion of my mini 1275GT to a Starlet turbo engine. I was wondering if anyone has any indication or photos on how to do the subframe. If I could help with any CAD file or something like that would be welcome!
Thank you very much
Matias Acuña
PS: Forgive me for my bad English, I speak Spanish jajajaja

Welcome aboard Matias!

First step is read through the threads in this Engine Conversions section of the forum. There are multiple builds that show lots of photos about how to to modify the subframe to suit the 4EFTE. You should get heaps of info from those. I have a thread here as well on my build, but I tend to post with more photos and in depth details on my blog http://mearcatmini.blogspot.com/ if you wish to look there.

Good luck!

There is another member on here from Chile who has already done the conversion. I know Chile might be rather big but atleast heres more local than we are. He is in Santiago from what his profile says.

Heres a link to his profile.

Thanks for the reply you both, i will check out your blogspot. About the person from Chile, I now axel and i will see his mini i think soon, but he tells me that the engineer that did the subframe for him isnt here in Santiago, thats why i contacted an engineer and he told me if i can get the "fabrication manual" of the subframe with the measures it will be great, to make a subframe that it´s allready tested!
Thank you very much, Greetings
Matias
