ok....

been away from mini's after getting a little feed up... easy come, easy go.... but kind of miss the little chariot, but don't miss the engine set up.

So looking at a conversion... doesn't need HEAPS of grunt... just 5sp and more reliable!

Anyone done one? or any other ideas?

I say the CB61 as its small..... no real mods needed just little stuff...

Hi there,

I'm not aware of any that have been done but it would probably be similar work to the other conversions, maybe without the extra hassle of efi wiring.

One here for sale.

I've not laid eyes on one in a while but from memory they are pretty compact. There was another 3 cyl conversion on here which only needed minor subframe mods so from that point of view it could be worth it. Depends what you're after, I guess most people figure if their going to put in the effort might as well use the best motor they can.
