Nope - brass bushing, with force fed oiling.

Nothing wrong with that tho,,, the bush type turbos have been running wonderfully for years & years & years with no dramas, the trick (or one of them) with the ball bearing turbos is that they spool up easier/quicker, but yes thery`re more expensive

Yes Matt, not as frictionless as ball bearing, but bullet proof really and does what it says on the box. Equally unless your doing the Nordschliefe the lag difference is minimal...

is the KKR280 a similar or same flange size as the T25 which might be a T2 flange size?

T25/28 are different to T2

T25/28 is rectangular ... & the T2 is basically square

but easy fixed by swapping the flange, or adapting the flange on the manifold

I think from memory it takes a T25 flange.
