I used to work in car audio, and I will definetly be using Dynamat Extreme on my mini. Its so much nicer than many other products, and it works (although I've neved used it for heat reduction).

I got one of those bulk packs off ebay and have decked out from the seat rail/box bit forward and still have a metric tonne left. I am going to do the back of the van and a strip on the roof and if any is left over maybe a nice shiny vest that doubles as a back waxer...

Hi Bigtimmyp

as you mentioned the product exactly same as dyna matt.
Where can I find it?

Also you guys think the price of dyna matt on ebay will be cheaper from the retailer stores? I haven't got a chance to see where I can get them from stores.

Does the dyna matt extreme are able to apply on anywhere on the car, even firewall and bonnet?

Thanks for all the replys.

I had a look at audio places and it was about 299 instead of 219 for the bulk pack.
I don't know about firewall inside the engine bay but mine is all over the firewall inside the compartment.

I got a pack of Dynamat Extreme from Knox Auto Carpets, only cost me $220 and I could buy it over the counter. They charge an extra $25 for delivery. At that price there was no need to frig about on eBay.

See: http://www.knoxautocarpets.com.au/moulded_carpets.htm - it's right down the bottom of "Additonal items".

Thats a good price!
I went to a few audio shops near me and they all charge like wounded bulls. Maybe they thought that they saw me coming and I looked dense or something :) :)

well it depends on what you are doing I guess. it gives you 36 square feet. I think it will do my inner cabin floor, firewall, strip down the roof and still have some left over but cant be certain till its done. Any left over I will maybe double up on the firewall.

ohh and as pooee said to me. Make sure you get 9 sheets as some guys will take one sheet out of the box and sell it cheap but then every eight kits they sell they get a free kit.
