Not removed, taped over (only adds 5hp)

Stock motor, stock ecu, injectors were getting richer even at that power, I'm informed (by Josh) that they are unlikely to be stock - but they are still whatever came with the halfcut.

Still the T25 turbo, Brad do you know what variant / year model, I heard their not all the same?

Front mount intercooler with longer piping made with whatever was available at the time (not proper piping) made me notice significant lag from the front mount intercooler the first day I drove it with that setup, but what can I say, I like the look (not everyone's taste I know).

15th at the Drags... I'll be there, but I will definately need to sort out some good tyres before then, I think I'll need to make a few calls.

Ray the turbo is of a s14 nissan silvia. The turbo is known as a T25g, not bad for a $200 turbo and $200 manifold hey :D They do not make much power over 17psi as they run out of puff, when i had it on the dyno it would make the same power at 14psi as it did at 17psi, but i think that was to do with the top mount intercooler.

Lag was not that bad with the top mount, plus the car dosnt weigh 2 tonne so it only lagged once, that was in first gear when you need it to, but once you hit second gear you were already past the lag so it just powered through the rest of the gears.

When i got the 1/2 cut it was stock as a rock no mods what so ever and around 70k on the clock i think. I dont think the injectors would have been touched as not even the air box was touched and the stock turbo and manifold had never been removed by the looks of it.

They could have modified the motor in japan and then put it back to stock when crashed and forgot about the injectors maybe, but the stock ecu usually dosnt like run so smoothly with bigger injectors, and this motor ran like it was brand new.

I put a fuel cut controller on it to run higher boost then the ecu cut off, think its about 12psi. fuel pump was vl turbo and a sard fuel regulator. That was all the mods i did, now ray has a front mount and fixed the wastegate actuator and a tune for over 200hp.

To me that is a pretty impressive result from so little mods from 1330cc.

Most of the guys on austarlet seem to be replacing their injectors by the time they reach 200HP - i ran out of fuel on mine, but mine could have been the non stock ones as well, who knows what we get with these things. The other option is your FPR is running at such a high pressure it's pushing a lot more fuel through them.

Brad has a good set of used formula ford tires, mount them on a spare set of 13" rims if you have them, they will be good 8)
