Serious question Dean. Any benefit to forming a club?

Hmmm I was going to suggest another MRC day at Castle Hill soon, maybe July? That'll give Kazjim and Baracade time to get their cars run in and sorted... 8)
July = NICE COLD AIR =HP..... :P

Not quite that easy. You have to be an incorporated club, affiliated with the Council of Motor Clubs, and club rego is only for historics anyway. 30 years old with period modifications. I doubt you'd be able to convince the RTA or the CMC that a starlet turbo engine is a "period" modification!! :P

Why not just all join the respective Mini Clubs in your state? The myth about not being welcome with highly modified cars is just that - a myth. Sure, there'll always be one old fart in every crowd that says something like "you can't do that", but for every one of them there's ten standing there admiring your car and wondering how the hell you did it!

Besides that, if more of us young guys (and gals) joined the club, then the so called old fogies would be in the minority now wouldn't they?? 8)
