sure...but the motor itself does weigh less...and the vtec one weighs more...so with all the ancillaries installed you will get a big hit to the weight...

wow that extra weight is going to slow it down NOT

The Vtec in stock form will deliver power with economy, drivability for spirited and casual styles and give a life expectancy far greater then any A series.

The biggest difficulty in automotive engineering is compromise and the Vtec has less then the A series.

i am not arguing for the a-series...i'd go vtec over a-series anyday...hell...i did just that...i bought a honda prelude coz i was sick of how craptastically reliable my mini was...

vtec vs 4efte in a mini is a harder choice to make...
