As a longtime Fiat 124 Sport owner (which had cable clutch), all I can suggest is, buy a spare and carry it! :x
Cable clutches are all subject to Murphy's law.

I needed a longer pivot arm for the Subie clutch
also you will see I have relocated the whole pedal box:

Are you guys sure it wouldn't just be easier to go hydraulic?

I am a fan of trial & error engineering

Orangie in my case I would have nowhere to mount the clutch master cylinder (you should see the problems I had with the brake master  )

Anyway, cable = lighter :D

I do most of my engineering by trial and error too. I guess I am not familiar with your other modifications. I am still running the stock masters for the clutch and brakes in their stock locations. So all I had to do is make a bracket to mount the Mini slave cylinder and a modified lever arm to operate disengage the clutch and make a new hydro line to it.
I am always interested to see how others solve their problems it helps me learn too for future situations. Keep up the good work.

in my case, the clutch arm is at the front of the motor, over the front of the subframe, and comes upwards, so there's nowhere to put a slave cylinder beneath it... I could set up some kind of lever arrangement that would pull it up when the slave cylinder pushes it down, but that would probably give me as much hassle as setting up a cable...
