What i am after is if anyone knows of any blueplate engineers in the Brisbane/Logan
areas in Qld? The transport dept is not much help as most of their approved pers
do not do chassis modifications. What i have done is the following to a1973 Clubman,
a. Fitted a G13A Suzuki +5 speed trans, with hydraulic clutch,
b. Brake booster mounted on left side, achieved by a Lada conversion rod,
c. dual braking system with 8.4 discs of a 70's morris 1100+ modified bottom arms,
d. i have mounted the alternator over the inlet manifold.
I am also using 12inch wheels, anyone that can help me i would be very grateful.

i was under the impression that Norm Singleton does blue plate certification...not sure though...maybe i am thinking of John Kean...i have both of their numbers somewhere...PM me if ya want their numbers...John Kean is the man to go to about DoT stuff...and Norm Singleton handles CAMS and DoT stuff...i think...atleast if they dont they can point you in the right direction hopefully...

I had Mokesta's cage, seats & seatbelts plated by Keith Fackeral (sp?) of KCF rally sport in Kippa Ring. Top guy.
I had my old AE86 sprinter's engine conversion plated by Richard Larsen of Loadsafe. I think he is allowed to plate chassis mods. Never had a problem with him. He's in Ferny Grove.

I suggest you ask Con T. who he used because he is in Brisbane. Con has THE BEST looking g13b converted mini. He is username 'GTiMini' on the 16v mini club: http://www.16vminiclub.com/forums/

I can recommend Dave Walsh, 0411 311 473. He's in Wakerly.
