I have these in my MK1 S. However it looks like the price has almost doubled since I bought mine.

I have just used standard paper filters for over 40 years. I assume that is what Stibbsy means.

Thanks Bill B.
I have been using the standard filter but have come a cross the same filter which is about 10mm higher.

The part numbers have changed I think as I recall A389-Ryco made in NZ by G.U.D and then there is GFE 1038.

Just can't pop down to the parts shop these days to compare :?

I've ordered 2 Ryco A256 :|

Are the K and N Filter's E-9001 reusable? The seem to be a lot more expensive.

The height of different air filters was discussed here:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=95994&hilit=air+filters

if it helps.

I notice Karcraft have several different air filters, including a "thin" one for Cooper S specifically.

Yes they are reusable and are supposed to flow a bit better. I dont think i would want to be paying the current prices. I bought mine from the states ages ago when the US dollar was almost the same as ours for a brief period.
