My 3/70 mk2 has it fitted on the slam panel and my 4/71has it near the master cylinders. |

No, don't have the sticker. I've seen it on eBay and also either Minisport or Mini Kingdom Sent from my SM-A305YN using Tapatalk |

Didn't "BMC" as the company name change to "British Leyland Motor Corp. long before the Mk2? |

If you look at ADR plates the British Leyland started with the rectangle plates in Dec 1970. The steering wheel badge change was apparently Oct 1970. These stickers were used at least into 8/1973.
