Hi All,

Quick question, are the 998 and 1100 conrods the same (interchangeable as a set)?

Thanks

Different stroke but YES they are interchangeable.
I'm not sure about all the bearings.....
And I believe the pistons and rods are different (offsets only) so 998 (maybe rods) and pistons will not work with a 1098 crank but a complete 1098 assembly will fit in a 998 block.

Yeah Nah

Bearings are the same. rods are the same, 998 and 1100 have different pistons and cranks.

998/1098 conrods come as two pairs, make sure you get a matched set with the matching caps

There were some 998/1098 rods made by Repco (I think) that had no little end bush, they were interference fit like a 1275.
Pretty rare here though. And gudgeon pin was bigger.
