I have needed to replace the diff output side cover bearings on my S box and the new ones require reaming. Does anybody know the running clearance for these. Running Hardy Spicer couplings. ![]() Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk |

Go for 4 or 5 thou, 1 or 2 thou is too tight |

5 thou is too much, I bore them in the lathe to .002" clearance. If they bind something is pushing the drive flange out of line, probably a bent collet inside it. |

Go with the Docs measurement. Dont worry about me - i was thinking of the freeplay when they are rocked back and forth. |
