Hi lads

So the rocker cover has a vented cap
The original end cover had a bolt on vent pipes into a pcv of some sort however...
I swapped out end covers .. now using this one

Question
Can I run it blank as is?
Should I put another breather somewhere ...?

The engines that use the drop gear breather are usually engine without rear tappet cover breathers. I would make sure I had at least one. I believe the vented cap is to let fresh air into the engine when running a PCV system so you dont pull a vacuum.

simonw - are you able to reduce the size of your images before posting? The two in this thread are large and require use of the scroll bar to view them.

Keeping the image size to around 2000 pixels across and down (or less) and 300 dpi is good.

Thanks gto
That makes sense . It’s 1300 auto so no side covers . Might have to drill out the cover and put the original breather back in.
Am using this cover as the drop gear faces are almost brand new ... the original was flogged out because of incorrect end float. But it’s off an 1100 auto .

Sure Win ,

I post off mobile so Tapatalk just gives me an original or medium option. Good feedback.
At least we don’t have to squint to see the details haha

Cheers
