Hi there

I am having issues with this seal from minispares uk.
It folds over the wrong way when winding down the windows (grips on the glass and tries to go with it).
Has anyone else had issues with this?

cheers
Rick

Is this the seal you are talking about? If not please post a link to what you purchased.

Are you aware that the wind-up window doors on Australian cars are unique to Oz and don't share parts with non-Oz minis? A purchase from Minispares UK doesn't seem right.

Yeah, that is the one.
I must have bought them from minisport au as I can't see these listed at minispares uk.

So many purchases I didn't remember

Have had the same problem. Don't know whether the rubber is extra sticky or slightly too wide, so it flicks whichever way the window glass is going. It eventually stopped doing it - maybe dried out a little? I did put some chalk dust on the rubber to stop it.
When those moulds were NLA some suppliers sold the MGB part and told you to cut it to size.

I had the same issue. I just used a little wd40 on the finger and wiped along the edge. After a week or so it was fine.
