I'm looking at running the new wiring loom (hot rod kit not orginal) into the engine bay. Searching around it looks like the orginal wiring come out if the speedo hole and ran along the top of the firewall then down the drivers side, like in picture below, is that correct? Also what other tricks have you used for hidden wiring? Thank you in advance. |

The path you show is the correct original way. You should find flat clips spot welded along this route that hold the loom in place. |

I started running mine back into the firewall behind the master cylinders then into and out of the fresh air pipe in the guard. Most of the wiring was plenty long enough. Ill probably move the starter solenoid too, but dunno where yet. I would say it would have been easier to stay behind the dash cards but i didn't want to pull too much out. Like i said would have been easier to stay behind the dash. Ive figured how to cut and bend the air pipes around the split conduit so it won't leak air. The conduit will protect the exposed sections. There are loads of holes for the wires to poke back through where needed.i shortened a few wires and extended a few, and moved the fuses so they'll be hidden too. Ive got relays and a solenoid to move still. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my Nokia 5.1 Plus using Tapatalk |

Hidden wiring is done when the owner is doing a crap job himself and does not want any one to see it. |
