my recently finished 65 deluxe has a rotational knocking. new front brakes bearings. could it be the cvs? unis are new. seems to come on stong for a bit the goes away. other thought is a rear brake drum and pads catching. but feels more like front end...? anyone have an idea? |

Process of elimination, but first check everything for tightness...then check Uni joints for any scuffing wear... New brake shoes can have high spots before bedding in... |

Some new brake shoes are not chamfered on each end. This makes them grabby. Not only on Minis either, I just had this problem with my Jeep Cherokee rear shoes from eBay. |
