I have the opportunity to remove the little in tank filter. Should i. I want to wash out the tank as its been sitting for 20 years Thoughts Sent from my SM-J530Y using Tapatalk |

I must admit after I removed mine I didn't refit one. But I installed an inline filter immediately after the fuel outlet (prior to the fuel pump). It was very difficult to refit for me, others might have some trick I overlooked. |

The filters were clean and looked quite serviceable in all, even though some rust was present to varying extents, so I left the filters in place. You can see some pics taken with a mini scope camera in my build thread. |
