Hi All, Its been a while, I had my mini sitting in the shed for 10+ years and now Ive decided to get it going again (maybe needing some more advice soon) and give it a paint. So upon removing the engine and using a wire brush on the grinder to remove the paint in the engine bay and surrounds I have come across some rust (as per pic below) in the sill below the headlights, would it be best to cut this out, make a new one and replace or is there a more simple way to consider? If you have the skill cut it out, make a new piece first. Make it look original .1mm steel Allen |
