I am searching for confirmation as to whether a 67 Deluxe came standard with two screw rear light assembly or three screw. In my case, the PO has installed one of each. cheers |

Pretty sure a 67 is 3 screw. My 70 Mini is 2 screw, Oz made lights. |

In his book John Snedddon says June 1967 for the change to two screw, although Lucas made the announcement in Jan 1967, so who knows for sure? Attachment: Lucas_NVS_A29 AL136 Introduction.jpg

If it helps - the tail lights on YMA2S2 22269 are 3 screw and I think it was unrestored. Attachment: YMA2S2 22269 3 screw tail lights.jpg The original wiring loom would also indicate which type. The early 3 screw assemblies had short wires coming out of the bulb sockets with lucas bullet connectors on the loom. The later 2 screw assemblies had female spade plugs directly onto the back of the bulb sockets. |
