There are many threads on hydro lines. I made my own using the original type 3/8 bundy tube. Many members have said use Pirtek. Does anyone know how much Pirtek charge to do 2 lines? I have been asked to make some. I keep putting it off as I am always busy on other projects. If Pirtek make them for a fair price I will let them know. I would expect they would charge $$$. There is no easy way to clean the hydro lines so when making them all you need is a small tube bender and any brake place can do the double flares. You do the flares before you bend the tube. |

Pretty easy work, as is the flares on the end. Only drama is getting the pipes nicely behind the subframes, it takes some disassembly first. |

I have made one set and I will never make them again I don't need the stress, you did well making them, I made them when the car was upside down and I would suggest to anyone making them now. make them in 2 sections sleeve and silver solder the join, There is a brake place in Parramatta that does them not sure of cost probably $450 for 2 , I would charge more than that to make them ,you can get them to fit better than the original lines Allen |

Pirtek at West Ipswich made up a hydro line and a fuel line for $130. They used bundy tube and the old old connectors from the original hydro line. |

Pirtek must be very good it took me all day to make 2 lines. They fit better than the original ,as you need the bends exact. I made them about 40mm longer .You can clean them using the Por 15 cleaner which cleans fuel tanks .Don't forget with new flares they must be real tight or you will get a small leak which you cant see, Allen |
